Wild and Crazy

This was just too cute, so I had to post it!!! Took Mickey shopping with me (a little girl time is always fun) and saw this silly wig. She love playing “dress up” and giggled when I put it on her!

Finally! We had professional pictures taken. I have been waiting for this day since McKynlee was born, but I wanted to wait till she was old enough to participate in the pictures. First day of School!

Boy, are my boys getting big or what!!

I can’t believe that Blake is in first grade….where does the time go? Blake was super excited to start back up at school. This year is going to be totally different than kindergarten, since he only went part time. I’m expecting it to take a week or two for him to adjust completely to going every day.

Kade is starting his second year of preschool and he is stoked! He is especially looking forward to going three days a week now instead of two.  Not to mention how much he loves his teachers, Mrs. McRae and Mrs. Faire.  

Impromptu Camp Night

Ty got home from work early on Friday, and all my daycare kiddos were gone by 4:15 (which hardly ever happens) so we decided to go up to our favorite spot in Teanaway and take a little hike and scout for deer (hunting season is coming quick!). On the way up, we figured, Why not make a night of it and roast some hotdogs over a campfire. We stopped at the little general store halfway up and picked up what we needed. The kids were so excited…I just love that they enjoy the simplest of things. Once there, we hiked to our favorite spot and back, then found an empty campsite. Ty got a huge fire going, with the boys’ help of course. We had a fantastic time being together. I truly savor these moments with my family J

YeeHaw!! Fair & Rodeo

We LOVE this time of year! It is definitely one of our favorites. One big reason for that is the annual Ellensburg Fair & Rodeo on Labor Day weekend. I have been going to this since I was little, and I still enjoy it just as much as I did back then. Not to mention how much my boys look forward to going. They are especially thrilled that they can be Cowboys for a day!
