Blake's 6th Birthday!!

This year, Blake decided he wanted a Monster party. We invited his kindergarten class and close friends. We had a great time!!

This is Blake invitation that I made.

I made these so the kiddos could get a "monster picture" taken.

This was one of the games we played. I painted the ball toss monster. Blake's uncle ended up destroying the monster by throwing the balls at it.

"Guess the Monster Parts". I put spaghetti for "brains", peeled grapes for "eyeballs", a stringy ball for "hair", & giant dog bone for "a monster bone". The kids loved it!

I tried to warn people that there were monsters......

Footsteps lead the way.....

Blake and his best friend playing with the Monster Guts! This was made with a simple home "Gak" recipe.

The kids made their own Monster Goodie
Bags for the pinata.

The food was alot of fun to make. Blake wanted cupcakes this year, so I made One Eyed monster cupcakes.

The Monster Toe's were a big hit...I thought I made a lot, but not enough apparently... They were gone in no time.

Along with toes, you must have Fingers....

These are just rice krispie treats....you really can't
go wrong with them.

Monster Eye balls were also a big hit...

The kids played a fun game called Monster Dash (red light/green light)

Blake enjoyed opening all his gifts...I don't know what to do with everything!

Last but not least, we enjoyed our Monster cupcakes....I must admit, they were quite delicious!

'Bout Time

So, I said in my last post that it was about time that I made our family a blog spot....well that was almost 3yrs ago. So, I am going to "give it a go" (as Blake's kindergarten teacher says) and get this blog up and running. Bear with me as I may change things numerous times!
