Impromptu Camp Night

Ty got home from work early on Friday, and all my daycare kiddos were gone by 4:15 (which hardly ever happens) so we decided to go up to our favorite spot in Teanaway and take a little hike and scout for deer (hunting season is coming quick!). On the way up, we figured, Why not make a night of it and roast some hotdogs over a campfire. We stopped at the little general store halfway up and picked up what we needed. The kids were so excited…I just love that they enjoy the simplest of things. Once there, we hiked to our favorite spot and back, then found an empty campsite. Ty got a huge fire going, with the boys’ help of course. We had a fantastic time being together. I truly savor these moments with my family J
