Trick or Treat

Halloween came quickly this year, I can't believe its October already! Blake came up with this years costumes, his inspiration being his favorite Wii game: Mario (Kade), Luigi (Blake), & Princess Peach (McKynlee). I ordered the boys costumes, but unfortunately, they don't make an 18mo size Princess Peach costume, so I had to improvise. It looked cute, but wasn't the warmest costume. We had fun with Tyler's family trick or treating, it was a long night and the kids were pooped when we finally got home. Mickey loved it so much and was lil' Miss Independant! However, there were SO many kids, and she almost got trampled twice! So, I carried her most the way, and she did not like that one bit!
She was SO mad because I wouldn't let her walk!

Trains, Rides, and Carmel Apples

Who knew that such a fun time was so close to my Mom’s house!!! I had heard of Remlinger Farms a couple times, and figured it was about time we checked it out. Plus it was only 30 minutes from my Moms, her and I took the Kids for the day. We were joined for the day by our aborable lil' friend Natalie, & we had a blast!!! Seriously, this place is amazing, and very reasonably priced. The kids had so much fun riding on all the rides, going through the petting zoo, riding on ponies, climbing a rock wall, jumping in jump houses, riding on a train, and eating Carmel Apples!  We will absolutely grace this place again, and I can’t wait!

It's a stick, it's a weed, NO!! It's a Praying Mantis!!

Kade found a Praying Mantis at preschool, picked it up, and it jumped up on his shoulder! Usually they are pretty feisty guys, but this one sat on his shoulder for a little bit, then climmed across his back and to his other shoulder. He thought it was so cool! After a little prodding, I finally convinced him to put it down.

Kade's preschool Pumpkin Patch

Kade had his preschool pumpkin patch today, and he had so much fun. His teacher, Mrs. MacRae does such a great job planning everything and making things run smoothly. She has different stations, and divides all her classes into smaller groups. Each group takes turns rotating to all the different stations. Among the stations, there are horse rides, corn maze, a hayride, petting zoo, music/cookie station, face painting and balloon characters. Kade’s favorite by far is the horse rides!

Wild and Crazy

This was just too cute, so I had to post it!!! Took Mickey shopping with me (a little girl time is always fun) and saw this silly wig. She love playing “dress up” and giggled when I put it on her!

Our Family Photos 2010

Finally! We had professional pictures taken. I have been waiting for this day since McKynlee was born, but I wanted to wait till she was old enough to participate in the pictures. We had a local gal name Kirsten Cox do our photos. Let me tell you, she is AMAZING and I absolutely adore her and her work. You can check her out at kirstenjcoxphotography.com.
