Little Sportsmen

Boy do my boys love hunting! Every year there is a Sportsman Show in Yakima, and Tyler takes the boys to check out all the hunting stuff. It is a great opportunity for Tyler to have some "man time" with the boys, and they just relish at the thought of doing "men stuff" with him. Plus, it gives Mickey and I a little break from all the hunting a wrestling that goes on around here.

Kade's 4th Birthday

Kade chose to have a Pirate Party for his 4th birthday. The kids had such a great time playing together!

 This is Kade's invitation I made.

The kids played a game of "Pin the Patch on the Pirate" with a little Pirate boy I painted.

 

I made this backdrop for kids to draw fish and sharks on. I also set up pirate coloring activities for them.

 

  

  

 

The food was super yummy!! We had Pirate boats (hotdogs), Seashells and Seaweed (Pasta), Island Fruit (Pinapple tidbits), Fishy in the Ocean (Jello with Swedish fish...not recommended, fish get really slimy), and Goldfish crackers. 
 

 

I worked really hard on Kade's cake, and it was easier than I thought. I just need to learn how to do fondant!
